At Solidair Audio, we think that the Michell Gyrodec is one of the best looking turntables anywhere. It is certainly the best looking one that normal mortals can afford to buy. It sounds excellent straight away, but not without it’s eccentricities. Some improvements can be made to make it sound like a much more expensive machine. We have worked on several areas of the turntable, but always keeping the iconic design in mind. If you choose to buy one of the Michell turntables, and why wouldn’t you, we are here to help you fine tune it. We have isolation feet to float the whole turntable. Platforms to do the same or double the isolation. We also make an upgrade for the spring suspension, which you can’t see.
