Solidair Audio Ukishima 15 Aluminium – single foot

The Ukishima 15 Aluminium, offer high quality affordable heavy HiFi isolation. This product, designed with efficient production in mind, to keep the cost down. They are made of aluminium, with a silver or black anodised low maintenance finish. The top and bottoms of the feet are faced with cork for further isolation and scratch resistance for your HiFi components and shelving. These feet are suitable for most heavy HiFi components, particularly amps, racks and big turntables. We have listed them here as individual feet for people with specific requirements that a box of four doesn’t match, though you will need at least three. They will aesthetically match the lower powered feet in the Aluminium range and the Aluminium speaker suspension bridges, so you can mix and match to suit your needs.

The Solidair Audio Ukishima 15 Aluminium feet each have a capacity of 2 to 15Kg. They are 41mm in diameter and measure 4omm (minimum load) to 29mm (fully compressed) in height. The feet are typically 32 to 34mm tall in use.

Ideal load guide per foot:        4kg foot – 0.5 to 3kg        6kg foot – 1 to 5kg        10kg foot – 3 to 8kg        15kg foot 5 to 12kg

As with our other products they offer excellent isolation properties. Anything with moving parts, coils, transformers, capacitors or valves will benefit from good isolation to clean up the signal and give a more detailed sweeter sound.
The listening tests we have carried out so far have been very positive, most people have been unable to tell the difference between these and our brass range, they give significant sound improvements and excellent value for money. If you have a very serious HiFi setup you may prefer the heavier metal or wood ranges, but for most systems these are superb.
Please note the orientation of the foot, with the larger section on top, they work better this way up. It is also better to work the feet quite hard, so get the least powered feet that you need. If you have an uneven surface you may need a bit of headroom on the weight capacity.
