Ukishima 10 Oak – Hifi Sound Isolation Feet (set of four)
The Ukishima 10 Oak is a hand turned wooden bodied version of the Ukishima 6 with an up-rated magnet set for heavier components. There is a brass bearing inside and the foot is made of brass too, but the body is burr oak, for a more unusual and beautiful aesthetic. They work in the same way as the brass units to cut down vibration and signal noise but the wood gives more detail and warmth to the sound and air and volume to the sound stage. They add a delicacy which would be appreciated on a higher end system, they are our best sounding product so far.
As with all our products, they are designed for HiFi that is on show, to deliver form and function in a discreet, individual and attractive way.
The feet carry 1-10Kg each (up to 40Kg for a set of four evenly loaded feet).
They are 32mm in diameter and about 40mm tall in normal use.
These are non-adjustable feet, though the normal adjusters will fit these unit. Some adjustment can be made with the use of cork discs which we supply with the feet. It is best if the feet are moved to a position to level the HiFi unit.
“As promised, I thought I would give you an update on the feet I bought from you a couple of weeks ago. They are splendid. I have placed them underneath a sheet of 10mm thick toughened glass that support my Monitor Audio GX300 speakers.
The main thing I notice is that they reveal more of the depth of the track being played. This comes across as discovering hidden backing vocals and a clearer differentiation in the instruments being played. It is much easier to discern additional instruments that were always there but could not be clearly located in the mix. The sound as a whole hangs together much more coherently and the feet have definitely made a noticeable upgrade to my system, which is all Naim apart from the Gyrodec SE (where your performance pack produces a similar excellent upgrade).
Many thanks for producing such a quality product in both and looks and performance.
