Solidair Audio Dark Star Pylons – Service

The Dark Star Pylons use an elastomer suspension. We try to select materials with a long life expectancy and sometimes upgrade if we find something better. The elastomer has damping advantages over other materials, but it can deteriorate with time and some environments can be more challenging than others. We recommend you always put the covers on once installed as UV light can be quite detrimental to this type of material. Should you need to have the elastomer replaced we can do that for you and check the web at the same time. We can upgrade to a slightly thicker elastomer should you wish it, or keep the same thickness using our latest material to keep everything the same. (Let us know in the notes.)
